The Estancia features 11 elegant suites, a gourmet restaurant, a private lounge, a bar, a wine cellar. An array of galleries and terraces connect the interior of the Estancia to 74 outstanding hectares of parks designed in 1917 by renowned landscape designer Benito Carrasco, an apprentice of landscape designer Carlos Thays.
The combination of a fantastic grove, the ever changing colors throughout the year of more than 300 species and the surrounding nature trails make this park a stunning setting, today available for guests at Villa María.
History
Founded by Vicente Pereda by the end of the XIX century, Estancia Villa Maria has always been a forerunner in the livestock business in Cañuelas. In 1919, his son, Celedonio Pereda, entrusted renowned Architect Alejandro Bustillo the construction of the casco to be used as a summer villa.
Since then and for decades, Villa María hosted countless family and social events, which are today part of the Argentinean history.
